This piece was my first run at sculpting something that was mostly inorganic. I used a masking texture for all the gold inlays.

 

Funny story: I didn't sculpt each finger, I just did the middle finger (on account of it being the biggest) and thumb and used UVW repetition for the other three. There is a distinct possibility I may have hurt some feelings when showing progress screens.
